A New Beginning

Hello, and welcome to the fresh launch of our studio's home page!

Our team is excited to roll out our newly revamped website, now running on the Ghost content management system. This switch to a new platform marks a new beginning that lets us provide a more streamlined, secure, and future-proof experience for our existing clients and new visitors.

After many years of primarily using WordPress for both our own site and many client sites, we decided it was time for a migration. While WordPress has been a consistently reliable tool, recent issues within its ecosystem have raised concerns for our development team about longterm stability or unforeseen issues within the CMS platform. With some plugins and themes becoming a concern to maintain if the community forks the platform, we want to stay proactive in avoiding headaches and pitfalls to ensure a smoother experience for ourselves and all our clients.

This post is the first public test of our new platform (not counting weeks of work within our staging environment), and we look forward to sharing our progress out in the open as we continue to update our client projects and our own efforts.

What's ahead for our new site

Along with brilliantly written posts such as this one, our new site will feature quite a few articles and updates from our team including our recent server migrations on the hosting platform, how we're tuning our web services stack for the highest performance without sacrificing reliability, easy ways that we're helping our clients integrate server-side containers into their businesses, and simple maintenance tips that we use to keep our infrastructure happily running day-to-day.

Being a family-run company, in a family of companies, gives us a unique perspective into project management and workflow - that we'll be happy to share with you in this forum and through the new email newsletter that we're rolling out with our site upgrade.
